BP has finally acknowledged what the American people have been saying for weeks: It must take responsibility for its reckless conduct, clean up the Gulf and compensate the countless victims of the disaster it caused. ↗
We always see the innocent victims in the stories, and I am a little bored with that. I am much more interested in the price paid by the people who can fly. ↗
The East Timorese government does not believe that we should consider compensation for the victims because there are tens of thousands of people who were, in one way or another, affected by the violence either directly or indirectly. ↗
I want to take this opportunity to express, one more time, my deep sadness to those countrymen who feel, rightly, that they were victims of my government. ↗
