One thing that a lot of people forget is that when Lucifer was cast out of heaven, he took one third of the angels with him. These later became the first demons, and many believe that they are the only ones. What even fewer realize is that since demons were once angels, their righteousness cannot have been completely overcome. Just covered up, hidden, buried so deep into their souls that they can ignore it. But we can never forget," Belieal said sadly, feeling the hollow bit of himself that had once been full. "We can never forget what we've lost, and I think that that is our greatest curse of all. No matter how many souls we corrupt, no matter how much we destroy- we can never come back home. One that is capable of love. That person can ignite the spark of righteousness still within us and make us holy." "But-" "Yes, I still haven't answered your question. You, I, and Abaddon are one of the few who still care, even a little. So I thought it would only be fair to warn you that Lucifer will do whatever he can to destroy those rare people." "Yes, but-" "I'm getting to it. One of those people-" Belial hesitated. "One of them is that mortal girl that you've fallen head-over-heels for. ↗

She glanced at his fangs, then down. "Oh, my gods, when do you not sport wood? There are bathrooms in the back, so go burp the worm or whatever. ↗

You're a fuckin' parasite." I could never become a vampire. Filthy leeches. "Words still hurt, Chase. Besides, you should be thanking me. My advice about the Valkyrie clearly worked. And speaking of females, if I call you by one's name while my fangs are plunged deep in your neck, just run with it. ↗
