ولا تندهش من هذا يا يحيى، فهناك كثير من الإشاعات حول الحياة والرجال، من بينها أن الرجل لا يخطئ إلا نادرا، والحقيقة هى العكس بالضبط. نحن نخطئ طوال الوقت، طوال الوقت، ولا يمكن إلا أن نخطئ، لأننا نتاج ما تَعرّضنا له، وهو بالضرورة قاصر، ولأننا نقرر فى ضوء ما نعرفه، وهو بالضرورة قاصر، ولأننا نتأثر بأهوائنا وضعفنا ومخاوفنا . حاول قدرما تريد، لكنك ستخطئ، طوال الوقت. الرجل الحقيقى ليس من لا يخطئ، بل من لديه من القوة والشجاعة ما يكفى لأن يسائل نفسه، أو يستمع إلى من يسائله. وإن وفقه الله فقد يتمكن من اكتشاف خطئه، أو فهمه. ولو أحبه الله فعلا لتعلم من هذا الخطأ. لكن كل ذلك يستغرق وقتا. ويكاد يكون من المستحيل أن يحدث لك كل هذا وأنت فى خضمّ الحدث الذى تخطئ بشأنه رواية باب الخروج ↗
