What women have to stand on squarely is not their ability to see the world in the way men see it, but the importance and validity of their seeing it in some other way. ↗
The hesitancy is in the detail, not the principal. There has been no resistance to the principal of women playing in the Open if they are qualified for it. We are not dragging our feet. It's just that we never had cause to think about it before. ↗
I cannot doubt that women will line up, like the men elected, with the groups whose political thinking and convictions are in accord with their own political convictions. ↗
