Wtedy prosty żołnierz, który nie ma za sobą ani starożytnego rodu, ani szlachectwa, kładzie się piersią na kulomiot, torując drogę towarzyszom. Wtedy ludzie wbiegają do płonących budynków, skaczą w odmęty, z uśmiechem idą na szafot. Wsciekłość! Wsciekłość i nienawiść - tylko one tworzą prawdziwe męczeństwo. ↗
