I used to love to go to the movies - I'd see two in a row. A few times I even snuck into the second movie after it started... now that I think about it, that's kind of like shoplifting! Needless to say, I still love going to the movies, but I don't sneak in anymore. ↗
Coming from theater, and having been to acting school, and done little, small Australian independent movies, a lot of the time, it's always about character. ↗
I've done movies that I've been advised not to do. 'Dog Soldiers,' the movie I did 11 years ago now, I remember my agent at the time was like, 'You shouldn't do that. It's a weird film about werewolves,' and it became a cult hit. ↗
I like doing films and I wish that I could do more but I still have to audition. I don't get offered starring roles in movies even though I've written and starred in a movie. ↗
I would just love to do something where I'd have to train and work really hard and do one of those types of action movies, which a lot of women are doing now. ↗
That's my fun time so, to me, doing my homework, studying on what I do, watching the movies, listening to music, all that inspires me so I focus a lot on that and practice. ↗
You know, I find it very strange when movies that I made that were just excoriated - I mean that I was just vilified for - are now looked at as classics. ↗
