Food is a product of supply and demand, so try to figure out where the supplies are fresh, the suppliers are creative, and the demanders are informed. ↗

When someone says so-and-so’s opinionated, what’s that mean? Aren’t we all opinionated? Show me one person with no opinions, and I’ll show you a bowl of Jell-O—or a politician, whichever one’s dumber.

You bite the hand that feeds, Speedy said. Humans don't like that. They view it as a sign of ingratitude. I never asked anyone to feed me. That doesn't seem to matter to them. ↗

One fact is beyond dispute: Homogenization prevents the consumer from realizing just how little fat is contained in modern processed milk, even "full fat" milk. Before homogenization, milk purchasers looked for milk that had lots of cream - that was the sign that the milk came from healthy cows, cows on pasture. Old-fashioned milk contained from 4 to 8 percent butterfat, which translated into lots of cream on the top. Modern milk is standardize at 3.5 percent, no more. Butterfat brings bigger profits to the dairy industry as butter or as an ingredient in ice cream than as a component of liquid milk. The consumer has been cheated, but with homogenization, he can't tell. ↗

We must try again to be alive to what the people of our country really long for in our national life: forgiveness and grace, maturity and wisdom. ...Our political leaders will know our priorities only if we tell them, again and again, and if those priorities begin to show up in the polls. ↗

Danger, Danger running cold               Knowing but fearing just the same                Death comes and yet you don’t let go               Standing while it’s steel bands hold               Don’t walk. Don’t walk where light can not shine               You know the warning has been told               It comes for what is mine and I know it will be so.               Let go, it’s all there is that’s left. Let go your sin has no wrath.               Danger was Hell’s last request.                Let go it’s all there is that’s left. Let go your sin has no wrath.               Forgiveness wasn’t given yet. Not yet. Not yet.               No regrets. ~ Dank Walker ↗

We need to understand the more government spends, the more freedom is lost...Instead of simply debating spending levels, we ought to be debating whether the departments, agencies, and programs funded by the budget should exist at all. ↗

I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. ↗
