I know that there are many on the Space Coast who are already attempting to address job creation and I intend to support them in every way possible. I will be a hands-on participant.

Florida legislature
Adams was first elected to the Florida House in 2002. S. Adams was the Chair of the Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations Committee Vice-Chair of the Criminal/Civil Justice Policy Council Vice-Chair of the Public Safety/Domestic Security Policy Committee and Vice-Chair of the Select Committee on Seminole Indian Compact Review.

On August 14 2012 Sandy Adams was defeated in her bid for a second term in the Republican primary election by fellow Congressman John Mica after being redistricted to the 7th district. Representative for Florida's 24th congressional district. She is a former law enforcement professional who represented District 33 in the Florida House of Representatives.
