Reality is a genre that seems to be here to stay. I don't know how many of the new shows will last, but the more competition you have, the harder that pie is to slice up.

Personal life
From 1996 to 2001 Probst was married to the first of his two wives psychotherapist Shelley Wright. He currently hosts The Jeff Probst Show a syndicated daytime talk show produced by CBS Television Distribution. He often contributes to Jeopardy! by giving Survivor related clues from the show's venues has twice appeared on Celebrity Jeopardy! first in 2001 and again in 2003 and made several cameo appearances during the April 1 2010 episode.
