I race in two or three classic races a year and I may carry on for 10 more years or I may stop tomorrow.

Early life
Sheene was born in London the second child of parents Frank (resident engineer at the Royal College of Surgeons) and Iris. In later years Sheene became involved in historic motorcycle racing. Barry Stephen Frank Sheene MBE (11 September 1950 – 10 March 2003) was a British World Champion Grand Prix motorcycle road racer.
