I vowed I would do everything I could to stop the Isle of Man counting towards the world championship. And it was stopped, so they love me in the Isle of Man.

Early life
Sheene was born in London the second child of parents Frank (resident engineer at the Royal College of Surgeons) and Iris. In later years Sheene became involved in historic motorcycle racing.
