I would say to my colleague that the misery index, inflation and unemployment, when added together is the lowest it has been in the last series of Presidents, even going back to Jimmy Carter. So I think the Bush administration is doing a good job.

U. Health Care Reform
During consideration of the health care legislation Stearns offered the following amendments[citation needed]:
Provide tax deduction for health care;
Require the President Supreme Court Justices and Members of Congress to buy their coverage of the Exchange:
Eliminate the tax on medical devices;
Repeal the cuts to Medicare Advantage. S.
