John Vinocur is senior correspondent at the International Herald Tribune reporting on matters ranging from politics and economics to sports and culture in Europe Asia and the United States. In 1968 he covered major events around the world including wars in Biafra Israel and Cambodia for Associated Press.

John Vinocur (born 1940 in New York City) is a journalist for the Paris-based newspaper The International Herald Tribune (IHT). Prior to joining IHT he was the metropolitan editor at The New York Times.
