And so on, channel surfing through the day.
Watching, glassy-eyed.
The usual commercials blast at me:
Go to school,
Do your work,
Follow the rules.
Like most commercials, they're bullshit.
It's quite possible, you know,
To go through the school day
Without saying a word to any teacher.
No interactive TV here.
Subjects, like shows, change all the time.
Teachers, like fading soap stars, try to hang on.
Some of them are permanently cancelled.
