It makes one a better person to have had hardships and to have overcome hardships and not to blame anybody else for your mistakes.

Honours

In 1967 Forrester was made a Companion of the Order of Canada. She sang at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 1975 in Das Rheingold Siegfried and Un ballo in maschera. See also
