I would like not only to have a successful band, but I want to have children, a home, and a husband. Two or three. Children, not husbands!!! ↗

Sharon went on to play classical but we actually went into totally different instruments which was lucky for the band because otherwise we'd all be playing the same thing!! ↗

I really think about the times that I've been through with my husband and all the stuff that we've been through together, and I think to those moments for inspiration for the role. ↗

But those audiences in Spain, they were just so stoned. I don't like playing to audiences like that because they just don't do anything. I'm up here with my band and we're working really hard and they are just stoned. ↗

I think now, more than anytime I can remember, bands are sounding pretty similar whether they're English or American, from Manchester or London... or Leeds or Welsh or Irish. ↗

Pearl Jam is a band I have a lot of respect for. Nirvana and Sonic Youth I feel the same way about. Mumford & Sons, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Givers, and Foo Fighters are just some of my favorites. I respect bands that give me something of themselves that I can feel. ("Posing" bands turn me off generally speaking.) It all has to do with a feeling I have about them. That is what music is to me, a feeling. It's similar with people too. ↗

I think any band we played with would be a weird match. We're on our own, a little out there, but it's a good thing. I think we're complimentary to each other. ↗

It doesn't really seem any different anywhere. I'd say it seems like we're biggest in Australia. It's just that we've always been this underground band and for some reason in the last month has been starting to go overground. ↗

I love doing stuff with Todd Barry and Jon Benjamin. We give the stage to good bands and funny people. ↗

Probably having fallen in love with music and movies at a young age and then first learning about writing by kind of following the path of writers like Dave Marsh and Lester Bangs and being a rock journalist. ↗
