En als de verkoper op z'n bekende vriendelijke manier uitlegt wat voor boeken hij wel zou willen kopen, kijkt de moderne mens hem niet-begrijpend en met openhangende, walmende muil aan: 'Literatuur! Wa bedoelu?' 'O, leesboekies. Nou daar heb ik nog wel wat van staan.'
