In 2010 Wright toured again with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band along with Rick Derringer Edgar Winter Richard Page Wally Palmer and Gregg Bissonette. In November 2008 Wright released the six-track EP Waiting to Catch the Light on the Larkio Music label. In 1984 Chaka Khan included her cover version of "Love Is Alive" (re-titled "My Love Is Alive") on her album I Feel for You.

Gary Malcolm Wright (born April 26 1943) is an American musician best known for his songs "Dream Weaver" and "Love Is Alive" as well as his work with the British band Spooky Tooth.
