I played a lot of sports when I was a kid so I get in that ballgame mindset of being really, really respectful, but at same time saying to yourself, 'Don't back down a single inch, hang with these guys if you can.' If they throw it high and tight you have to stand in there, you can't take yourself out of that moment.

Michael Keaton's career was given another major boost when he was again cast by Tim Burton this time as the titular comic book superhero of the 1989 blockbuster Batman. Since 2000 Keaton has appeared in several films with mixed success including Live From Baghdad (for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe award) First Daughter White Noise and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

He has appeared in various other films including Night Shift Mr. Mom Clean and Sober Pacific Heights and Jackie Brown and has also provided voicework for Pixar's Cars and Toy Story 3.
