We're probably a couple of freaks who've created their own little universe, are living in our own little world and that's the only place where we can survive.

Pavement reunited in March 2010 and have since embarked on a world tour. He has also played a Danelectro Silvertone (Sears model dating to 1962 or 1963) for one-off solo shows. Pavement and Malkmus in particular was hailed as spearheading the underground indie movement of the 1990s.

He currently performs with Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks.
