Relationships are like Rome -- difficult to start out, incredible during the prosperity of the 'golden age', and unbearable during the fall. Then, a new kingdom will come along and the whole process will repeat itself until you come across a kingdom like Egypt... that thrives, and continues to flourish. Her birthday on June 27 is commemorated as Helen Keller Day in the U. She was a young woman from Scotland who had no experience with deaf or blind people. Keller wrote in the Akita Journal:

Keller suffered a series of strokes in 1961 and spent the last years of her life at her home.

Helen Adams Keller (June 27 1880 – June 1 1968) was an American author political activist and lecturer. The story of how Keller's teacher Anne Sullivan broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language allowing the girl to blossom as Helen Keller learned to communicate has become widely known through the dramatic depictions of the play and film The Miracle Worker.
