Going public was a difficult decision, and I had misgivings. My subjective experience was now an objective fact in the wider world. It didn't belong to just me anymore - though I quickly learned that it hadn't belonged to just me in the first place. More than a million Americans and their families were going through the same thing; some openly, some in secret due to concerns of being misunderstood and marginalized.

With a film and television career spanning from the late 1970s Fox's roles have included Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990); Alex P. New York: Hyperion. In 2011 Fox was featured as himself in the eighth season of the Larry David vehicle Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Fox OC (born Michael Andrew Fox; June 9 1961) is a Canadian American actor author producer activist and voice-over artist. This led him to create the Michael J. Since 2000 Fox has mainly worked as a voice-over actor in films such as Stuart Little and Atlantis: The Lost Empire and taken guest TV roles such as in Boston Legal The Good Wife Scrubs Curb Your Enthusiasm and Rescue Me.
