Voodoo Girl Her skin is white cloth, and she's all sewn apart and she has many colored pins sticking out of her heart. She has many different zombies who are deeply in her trance. She even has a zombie who was originally from France. But she knows she has a curse on her, a curse she cannot win. For if someone gets too close to her, the pins stick farther in.

Corpse Bride (2005) was Burton's first full-length stop motion film as a director featuring the voices of Johnny Depp as Victor and Helena Bonham Carter (for whom the project was specifically created) as Emily in the lead roles.

Burton has directed 16 films and produced 12 as of 2012. Burton is known for using recurring collaborators on his works; among them are Johnny Depp who has become a close friend of Burton since their first film together; musician Danny Elfman who has composed scores for all but five of the films Burton has directed and/or produced; and domestic partner Helena Bonham Carter. He also wrote and illustrated the poetry book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories publiTim Burtond in 1997 and a compilation of his drawings sketches and other artwork entitled The Art of Tim Burton was released in 2009.
