Le Corbusier Promenade a promenade along the water at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Visitors may find his grave site in the cemetery above Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in between Menton and Monaco in southern France. La Ville radieuse also marks Le Corbusier's increasing dissatisfaction with capitalism and his turn to the right-wing syndicalism of Hubert Lagardelle.
He was awarded the Frank P. Brown Medal and AIA Gold Medal in 1961. Le Corbusier adopted his pseudonym in the 1920s allegedly deriving it in part from the name of an ancestor "Lecorbésier.
