In 2007 Susan Hampshire was in a ground-breaking play The Bargain based on a meeting between Robert Maxwell and Mother Teresa. Hampshire is a patron of Dignity in Dying; a campaign group for an assisted dying law and Population Matters (formerly known as the Optimum Population Trust).

Susan Hampshire Lady Kulukundis OBE (born 12 May 1937) is a three-time Emmy award winning English actress best known for her many television and film roles.
