Where does a man get inspiration to write a song like that? Well, he gets it from the landlady once a month.

He taught film writing at Dartmouth College until he retired in 2000. Later stints with the Worcester Telegram and a profile in The Christian Science Monitor led to a job with the Associated Press. [1]
