    Brown does not follow the tradition of drawing his comics by the page — he draws them one panel at a time and then arranges them on the page. It was a matter of trying to figure out whether I even believed the Christian claims—whether or not Jesus was divine. He moved to Vancouver for two years to be with her and moved back to Toronto with her when Chester Brown became a VJ for MuchMusic.

    Yummy Fur was picked up by the Toronto-based independent comics publiChester Brownr Vortex Comics in 1986 and became a regular black-and-white comic book.
