Acting
Fincher often casts certain actors more than once in his films. The film went on to win many awards including four Golden Globes (including Best Motion Picture – Drama Best Director Best Screenplay and Best Original Score) three BAFTAs (including Best Direction) and three Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay Best Original Score and Best Film Editing. The story follows a single mother (Jodie Foster) and her daughter (Kristen Stewart) as they hide in a safe room of their new house away from criminals (Forest Whitaker Dwight Yoakam and Fight Club collaborator Jared Leto) bent on finding a missing fortune.

Fincher received Academy Award nominations for Best Director for his 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and his 2010 film The Social Network which also won him the Golden Globe and the BAFTA for Best Director. His most recent film is 2011's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo an English-language adaptation of Stieg Larsson's novel of the same name.
