I wanted to make a human monster. His name is Coffin Baby. The idea is based on a group of people from Pasadena whose names I can't mention. His mother died and during the funeral, this baby came out of her in the coffin.

Toolbox Murders (2004) received some of Hooper's best critical reviews in years. The film is set in Abu Dhabi in the UAE and will be released in 2013. The series allowed Hooper and other directors "final cut" approval which meant freedom from interference by producers.
