I think the Chainsaw remake is very good and captures the spirit of the original film. It's true to the tone of the original, to the point that it's almost a companion piece.

Toolbox Murders (2004) received some of Hooper's best critical reviews in years. The film is set in Abu Dhabi in the UAE and will be released in 2013. The series allowed Hooper and other directors "final cut" approval which meant freedom from interference by producers.
