In an age when the fashion is to be in love with yourself, confessing to be in love with somebody else is an admission of unfaithfulness to one's beloved.

His first sister Doris was born in 1927 and after three years his second sister Audrey was born. Nowadays it insists on it. He wrote a sequel to his autobiography in 1989 called The Good Times.
