It's always interesting to be playing against some of my best friends and some of my longtime teammates. You get to see them before the game and after the game and it's always nice to catch up but when the whistle blows it's sort of all business on the field.

Afterwards Heather O'Reilly proceeded to beat the entire student body in a footrace. The United States ended up taking the bronze medal with O'Reilly scoring a goal during the 4–1 win against Norway. [citation needed]
O'Reilly currently lives in Massachusetts.

She is a midfielder currently playing for the Boston Breakers in National Women's Soccer League.
