The athletes are still out competing the same as a Division I team, and I think we've done a good job of creating an atmosphere where they're responsible for their actions and their play.

Osterman was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts. Again Osterman also collected her second Honda Award. On March 16 Osterman recorded her 114th career win to tie Shawn Andaya (Texas A&M Aggies for 13th place on the NCAA all-time list.

Osterman held the NCAA Division I career strikeout record and is still the NCAA all-time leader for strikeouts per 7-innings 14. Osterman pitched on the USA Women's Softball Team which won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the silver medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
