I just feel like it would be so against my personality to have this struggle in tennis and just give up. I know it's not me, not who I am, and that would probably affect other parts of my life.

Charity work
Chang served as Chairman of ATP Tour Charities in 1994. During his rise in 1989 (including his French Open title) he was coached by José Higueras.

He also introduced the jumping two-handed backhand. 2 in September 1996.
