Going to Omaha for the College World Series - the people there are tremendous - huge crowds and a lot of excitement. I still remember those days - you make a lot of friends that you never forget when you win a championship like that.

The bipartisan House committee in front of which Clemens appeared citing seven apparent inconsistencies in Clemens' testimony recommended that the Justice Department investigate whether Clemens lied under oath about using performance-enhancing drugs. In the report McNamee stated that during the 1998 2000 and 2001 baseball seasons he injected Clemens with Winstrol. Clemens was known for his fierce competitive nature and for his hard-throwing pitching style that he used to intimidate batters.

In 1986 he won the American League (AL) Cy Young Award the AL Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award and the All-Star Game MVP Award and he struck out an MLB-record 20 batters in a single game. Clemens played 24 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for four teams.
