Walliams does a track-by-track interview with Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe on the new Pet Shop Boys album Elysium. In 2003 he appeared in EastEnders and Marple. In September 2012 Walliams released his fifth novel for children Ratburger.

He is best known for his partnership with Matt Lucas on the sketch show Little Britain and its predecessor Rock Profile. He is a judge on Britain's Got Talent and he compèred the 2012 Royal Variety Performance.
