You can't stop the aging process. There's only so much oil you can put on your body. I've always just tried to go with my age. If the part requires somebody a little younger or older, I can probably get away with that.

In 1959 Dickinson appeared in Howard Hawks' Rio Bravo in which Angie Dickinson played a flirtatious gambler called "Feathers" who becomes attracted to the town Angie Dickinsonriff played by Dickinson's childhood idol John Wayne. In 1942 her family moved to Burbank California where Angie Dickinson attended Bellarmine-Jefferson High School graduating in 1947 at 15 years of age. This led to other roles in such productions as Matinee Theatre (eight episodes) Buffalo Bill Jr.

She is best known for her roles in the films Rio Bravo and Dressed to Kill and for starring on television as Sergeant Suzanne "Pepper" Anderson on the 1970s crime series Police Woman.
