Joan's a dream to play - she's not always prancing around the office. There's that side to it, which is really fun, but there's nitty-gritty. She's what makes the workplace so fun - in a workplace that can be so dark and so much tension, Joan gives some levity. And the wonderful thing is she still has these darker moments among the fabulous highs.

S. Hendricks is a natural blonde and began coloring her hair red at the age of 10 after reading Anne of Green Gables. She has also had recurring roles in ER and Firefly and guest-starred in episodes of Angel Miss Match Tru Calling Presidio Med Without a Trace and Las Vegas.

In 2010 Christina Hendricks was voted Best Looking American Woman by Esquire magazine. A poll of female readers taken by Esquire magazine named Hendricks "the sexiest woman in the world".
