Indiana politics
While serving in the army in October 1864 Harrison was reelected reporter of the Supreme Court of Indiana and served four more years. Despite the meager income Harrison's boyhood was enjoyable with much of it spent outdoors fishing or hunting.

Defeated by Cleveland in his bid for re-election in 1892 Harrison returned to private life in Indianapolis. Benjamin Harrison (August 20 1833 – March 13 1901) was the 23rd President of the United States (1889–1893). Senate by the Indiana legislature.
