A full stage version of Cold As Ice was produced and presented by the Gateway Playhouse in May 2007. Because it was too late to try on a new pair of skates Baiul competed with a pair that had crooked blades. The story itself was conceived and written by former skater Frank D'Agostino.

Oksana Baiul (Ukrainian: Оксана Баюл; born November 16 1977) is a Ukrainian figure skater. She is the 1994 Olympic champion in ladies' singles and the 1993 World champion.
